Ovulation is a process that every normal woman undergoes every month. This process is also a necessary condition for people to pass on the family line. Everyone is different during this ovulation period, and in order to seize this ovulation period, people usually use test strips. Some people also do this ovulation test in the hospital every day, but does the ultrasound still show follicles after ovulation?
Does ultrasound still show follicles after ovulation
Monitoring ovulation under ultrasound is usually done once a day, ten days after menstruation, to monitor the growth of ovarian eggs. If you are comparing with an egg that has already been released, it must have been released the day before. It doesn't matter, it takes 72 hours for the egg to be released into the abdominal cavity. B-ultrasound examination of follicles reveals the rupture and ovulation of follicles. The exact time of capture is difficult to determine. Generally, the egg survives in the body for about 24 hours. If you want to conceive, arranging sexual intercourse reasonably can increase the chances of pregnancy.
How do follicles form
1. Follicles are composed of an oocyte and many small follicular cells surrounding it in the ovarian cortex. According to the morphological and functional changes during follicular development, they can be divided into three stages: primordial follicles, growing follicles, and mature follicles. Primitive follicles in women are innate.
2. Only one follicle is generated to maturity during each menstrual cycle, which is called a dominant follicle. Other follicles are inhibited by inhibitory factors, stop growing, and degenerate into blocked follicles. Mature dominant follicles grow rapidly, with a diameter of 20mm, and gradually migrate to the surface of the ovary. Their adjacent parts are semi transparent cone-shaped due to lack of blood vessels, known as ovulation spots, protruding from the surface of the ovary, preparing for ovulation.
No matter where there are problems with the body, they should be taken seriously. Issues that may affect a lifetime must be paid more attention to. Women first need to protect themselves, learn to respect and love themselves, and then observe whether their menstrual periods are normal or if they always don't come on time. They should have a gynecological examination every year to have a clear understanding of their physical condition.
