How to deal with the fetus after abortion

For mothers who give birth naturally, besides the delivery itself, the most terrifying thing for them is the lateral incision or tearing of the perineum during childbirth. But there are also some mothers who are very lucky that vaginal delivery does not require side cutting or tearing. So is vaginal delivery without tearing bigger below?

The absence of tears during vaginal delivery does not mean that the lower part is large, but rather that the mother's perineum has good elasticity, and everyone's skin tissue elasticity varies.

In addition, the problem of tearing is generally prone to occur when the mother's perineum is too tight, and the sudden impact of excessive force on the fetal head during passage can cause the mother's perineum to tear; Another issue is that the fetal head of the baby is too large, making it difficult for the perineum to withstand the increased head circumference, and tearing may also occur during labor.

If you want to avoid tearing during vaginal delivery, mothers should massage and exercise the perineum during pregnancy to enhance its elasticity. The specific operation method is as follows:

  1. After cutting off the nails on her fingers and cleaning her hands, the mother should take off her clothes and sit in a clean, warm, and comfortable place. Then, she should stretch out her legs and sit in a semi sitting position during childbirth.

  2. Place a standing mirror in front of the perineum so that the perineum is fully visible in the mirror.

  3. Prepare an appropriate amount of massage oil, or relatively pure rapeseed oil. If there is a water-soluble lubricant at home, apply massage oil, rapeseed oil, or water-soluble lubricant around the perineum.

  4. Insert your thumb into the vagina and press the perineal tissue towards your rectum. During the process, the mother should pay attention to gently stretching the perineum area, and there will be a slight burning sensation at that point.

  5. Maintain the extension of the perineum, after the burning sensation disappears, then continue to gently massage the vagina back and forth.

  6. When massaging, pay attention to raising your thumb in the vaginal groove and gently stretching the vaginal tissue forward. Finally, massage the vaginal muscles between the thumb and index finger continuously for about one minute.

Another thing to note is that during vaginal delivery, the mother must closely cooperate with the midwife, master the rhythm of the delivery, and avoid excessive force, which may cause sudden tearing of the perineum.
