  1. Stage 0 refers to cancer cells that are limited to the epithelium of the cervix and have not spread or become severe.

  2. The first stage usually refers to the tendency of cancer cells to spread, and the depth of invasion is divided into two stages: mild and severe.

  3. In the second stage, cancer cells show a tendency to spread and have already invaded most of the vagina or tissues adjacent to the uterus.

  4. In the third stage, the vagina has been completely invaded by cancer cells, and it has also invaded the pelvic area.

  5. In the fourth stage, cancer cells have spread throughout the entire uterine cavity and vagina, beyond the pelvic area, and have invaded areas such as the workplace bladder.

Choose different treatment plans based on the severity of the condition at different stages, and the treatment plan is related to the condition, the size of cancer cells, and the age of the patient.

Cervical cancer can be prevented from spreading through surgical resection, as well as several methods such as radiation therapy and chemotherapy. Usually, if the patient is not planning to have a child, surgical resection is more thorough and has a higher chance of success, minimizing the risk of recurrence.
