In fact, it is unscientific to determine fetal gender based on fetal movement position. Fetal movement refers to the movement of the fetus in the uterine cavity that impacts the uterine wall. Fetal movement refers to the movement of the fetus within the mother's uterus. The frequency and intensity of fetal movements indicate the safety of the fetus. From the fifth month onwards, the mother can clearly feel the fetal movement, which is due to the fetus reaching out, kicking, and impacting the uterine wall inside the uterus. The fetal movement on the right side does not necessarily indicate a girl, and currently, there is no evidence to prove that most pregnant women with fetal movement on the right are carrying girls.
Why does the position of fetal movement change when some pregnant women move to the left or right? This is due to the four fetal movement patterns of the baby:
1. Whole body movement: The movement of the entire torso, such as turning over. This type of exercise has strong strength and each movement lasts for a relatively long time, usually 3-30 seconds.
2. Physical movements: stretching arms, twisting the body, etc., each movement typically lasts for 1-15 seconds.
3. Lower limb movement: that is, the kicking movement that we often feel in babies. This movement is fast, with relatively weak force, and the duration of each fetal movement is generally within 1 second.
4. Chest wall movement: relatively short and weak, generally not easily felt by mothers.
Fetal movements are mainly concentrated before bedtime, after eating, while taking a shower, talking to the stomach, and listening to music at night. Fetal movement is a way for babies to communicate with the outside world. The position of fetal movement may change from time to time, during which the fetal spine develops and the fetus will self adjust to the appropriate position. Of course, if there is abnormal fetal movement, pregnant women should be alert and seek medical examination in a timely manner.
