Is the cervix already soft and about to give birth

  1. Generally, it will naturally give birth within a week. During normal times, it is recommended to massage and engage in appropriate exercise to aid in natural childbirth. Before giving birth, it is important to relax your mindset so that it does not affect natural reproduction. As long as the baby does not wrap around the neck, it can be born naturally.

  2. When the cervix becomes soft, it means it is about to give birth. Generally, the cervical canal disappears and gradually becomes soft near delivery. However, the specific timing of delivery depends on the progress of the contractions. If the contractions are good, the delivery process will progress smoothly and quickly. One should maintain a happy mood, get enough sleep, eat more easily digestible and nutritious foods to ensure sufficient energy and physical strength to welcome childbirth.

What are the symptoms a few days before giving birth

  1. Starting from the end of the 8th month of pregnancy, expectant mothers will experience a series of tightness and hardening in their abdomen when standing, sitting, or walking, mainly due to uterine contractions. The interval between each uterine contraction varies in length, ranging from a few minutes to two hours. If the contractions occur mostly at night and cannot cause the cervix to widen, it is called a false uterine contraction. During the active period of childbirth from 38 to 40 weeks of pregnancy, if contractions occur every 2 to 3 minutes for 30 to 40 seconds, accompanied by progressive dilation of the cervix, this is known as pre delivery contractions.

  2. Due to the strengthening of uterine contractions, the pressure inside the uterine cavity increases, causing the rupture of the amniotic sac and the outflow of cool, pale yellow amniotic fluid from the sac. Usually, after breaking the water, childbirth is imminent. Mothers should immediately adopt a supine position and be sent to the hospital for delivery. They must not stand upright or sit up to avoid umbilical cord prolapse and serious consequences.

The most painful and anticipated time for pregnant women is approaching, and I believe both myself and my family are eagerly anticipating it. The birth of a little life is a magical thing. The hardest time for mothers is coming. The pain of giving birth may only be understood by those who have given birth, but expectant mothers are both painful and happy.
