Which fetal position is best for childbirth

After pregnancy, women need to undergo B-ultrasound to observe the position of the fetus in the abdomen. And before delivery, it is also necessary to observe the fetal activity status through ultrasound to determine whether the pregnant woman is suitable for vaginal delivery or should choose cesarean section. So, for pregnant friends, which fetal position is the best for childbirth?

  1. Head position

Among various fetal positions, the head position is a particularly normal fetal position, mainly referring to the fetal head delivering the pregnant woman's body first. This fetal position has a higher safety index. Among them, it is roughly divided into occipital anterior or posterior position, facial position, frontal position, and so on. Among them, the anterior position of the pillow refers to the position of the fetus that people usually refer to as being in the right position. In this case, the speed of production will be faster.

  2. Hip position

For pregnant women, hip position is also a common type. It means that the baby's buttocks are below and the head is above. However, there is no need to worry about this until around 30 weeks, as most hip circumference can naturally rotate back to the head position after 30 weeks. Only a small number of fetuses may continue to have a breech position. The process of breech delivery is relatively simple.

The above two fetal positions belong to the positions that make the delivery process relatively smooth. Compared to these two fetal positions, the transverse position may be more dangerous. If vaginal delivery is used horizontally, it may bring great danger. Generally, doctors recommend that women in a horizontal position choose a cesarean section.
