From the first day of birth, babies need to receive vaccinations. With so many vaccinations, which ones should be administered and which ones do not need to be administered? There are mainly two types of vaccines in our country. One type of vaccine is a mandatory national vaccination, which is provided completely free of charge and must be administered to newborns. The second type is unplanned vaccines, which are self funded and available in both domestic and imported versions, and parents can choose voluntarily.
Baby needs to get vaccinated
According to the immunization program prescribed by the Ministry of Health, the vaccines that should be administered are:
The first dose of BCG vaccine and hepatitis B vaccine at birth, the poliomyelitis sugar pill for 2-4 months, DPT for 3-5 months, DPT for 6 years old, leprosy for 8 months, mumps at the age of 1.5 years old, JE for 8 months old, meningitis A for 4 months in total, meningitis A+C for 3 years old, and hepatitis A inactivation for 1.5 years old and 2.5 years old respectively.
The second type of vaccine mainly includes hepatitis A vaccine, Haemophilus influenzae type B mixed vaccine (HIB vaccine), leprosy mumps triple vaccine, chickenpox vaccine, influenza vaccine, pneumonia vaccine, and hand foot mouth disease vaccine.
Is it necessary to get self funded vaccines
Mothers who pay for second-class vaccines should choose carefully. There are two types of vaccines: domestically produced vaccines and imported vaccines. In fact, the quality of vaccines has little to do with domestic and imported vaccines. Their effects are the same, and mothers can make appropriate choices based on their own conditions. Among them, the mixed vaccine against Haemophilus influenzae type B, varicella vaccine, and pneumonia vaccine are strongly recommended by experts because these three diseases are relatively common and most susceptible to infection.
Can families with good financial conditions receive all vaccines? This also depends on whether a certain infectious disease has occurred in the region and one should choose on their own. In addition, it depends on the baby's own physical condition. After all, vaccines are proteins or other substances with antigenicity that still have a certain stimulating effect on the human body. Many babies may have adverse reactions after receiving the vaccine. Check whether the baby is suitable for vaccination and whether there are any contraindications.
