4. Vomiting: Approximately 60% of cases experience bloating, vomiting, frequent vomiting, and worsening constipation.
5. Complications: If a newborn baby suffers from megacolon combined with colitis, intestinal perforation is the most severe complication. The bacteria in the patient's intestine cause long-term retention of a large amount of feces in the colon and poor intestinal circulation. Also, the intestinal wall of newborns is very thin, and the pressure inside the intestinal cavity increases. The area that is prone to intestinal perforation is the part that bears the greatest pressure.
