  1. The basal body temperature of every baby varies to some extent, after all, babies have different basal metabolic conditions. However, in clinical medicine, the standard for judging the temperature of a baby's fever is the same. If parents measure their baby's temperature and find it above 37.5 ℃, it can be judged as fever. If the measured body temperature is above 39.1 ℃ to 41 ℃, it is considered a high fever.

  2. A baby's fever can be classified into four levels: low-grade fever, moderate fever, high fever, and ultra-high fever. Measuring body temperature between 37.5 ℃ and 38 ℃ is considered low-grade fever, while measuring body temperature between 38.1 ℃ and 39 ℃ is considered moderate fever. If the measured body temperature is 39.1-41 ℃, it belongs to high fever. If the baby's body temperature is measured to be greater than 41 ℃, it belongs to ultra-high fever.

  3. In addition, when measuring body temperature, it is advisable to do so in a quiet state for the baby. Due to the baby's lively and active nature, as well as the underdeveloped central nervous system, body temperature is also easily affected by external environmental temperature, resulting in elevated body temperature. Therefore, when measuring the baby's body temperature, it is important to eliminate these factors.
