Winter is very cold, and mothers should pay attention to their children's physical changes to avoid catching a cold, but they should not cover them too much with blankets. Many parents will cover their children with thick blankets. In fact, this is harmful. So, how do we cover our children with blankets in winter?
The first step is that the blanket should not be too heavy. The blanket is too heavy for the child's body, which can make them uncomfortable and feel oppressed. This will make it difficult for children to breathe and is not suitable for them to turn over. Children instinctively want to kick it away, not it, and keep it away from their bodies. Therefore, parents should not be overweight when preparing blankets for their children.
Step two, the child's blanket must be larger so that the child can roll back and forth without leaking air or catching a cold.
Step three, pay attention to the temperature in the bedroom not being too high. The temperature of the bed should be between 20 ℃ and 23 ℃, while the temperature of the bed should be between 32 ℃ and 34 ℃ to help with sleep. Therefore, parents must ensure the temperature of their children's bedroom and bed so that they can sleep well.
The fourth step is that adults and children who are covered by blankets have been reported in the American Journal of Pediatrics, with nearly 70 sudden deaths occurring while sleeping with another person. It is unsafe for a mother and child to sleep in the same bed, especially when they are covered by the same blanket. When adults turn over, they may push the blanket onto the child or consciously pull the blanket too high while sleeping, causing the child's face to be covered.
Step five, don't wear too many clothes to sleep. The easier it is to sleep, the colder the child's hands and feet become, due to poor blood circulation, especially after waking up. Wearing more clothes can affect the body temperature regulation function, weaken resistance, and make people more susceptible to illness.
