How to measure a baby's feet

Many mothers, in the process of taking care of their babies, choose to wear warm pure cotton socks and fitted shoes to avoid catching a cold on their feet. How to measure a baby's feet1

  1. Before measuring the length of a baby's feet, prepare a piece of white paper and a pen. Then let the baby lightly touch the white paper with bare feet, mark a point on the longest point of the toe, and draw a point on the baby's heel. The distance between these two lines is the standard length. If you are buying shoes, you can make a choice based on this.

  2. Draw a point on the widest part of the baby's feet on both sides, and then measure the distance between these two points with a tool. This is the width of the baby's feet. Generally, when buying shoes, to ensure comfort, you can add one centimeter to the length of the baby's feet. If the baby's feet are overweight, the instep will also be very high, so you should enlarge the size accordingly when selecting.

  3. Baby's feet are constantly growing, so it is necessary to measure them every once in a while in order to choose comfortable shoes. When purchasing, you can choose shoes with anti slip textures at the bottom, and the material of the shoes is preferably pure cotton fabric. Do not choose plastic shoes for babies, as they can easily irritate the skin of the feet and cause inflammation over time.
