Symptoms of intussusception
1. Suddenly crying. The baby was playing well a while ago, but suddenly started crying loudly, with their hands and feet moving, body curled up, pale complexion, and cold sweat. The crying would stop after about 20 minutes, but after about ten minutes, they would start crying again.
2. Vomit. During the pain process, vomiting may occur. At first, it may vomit food, and then it may vomit bile. Severe dehydration.
3. Poop turning red. When babies defecate, they may have red mucus or jam like bloody stools.
4. There is a lump in the stomach. If the baby lies flat, they can feel a sausage like lump on their abdomen when they are quiet. There is obvious bloating.
5. The baby may also experience mental fatigue, drowsiness, and other symptoms. If severe, there may be fever and shock.
As soon as one or more of the above symptoms are found in the baby, take the baby to see a doctor immediately to avoid delaying the condition. During this period, do not take medication or feed.
