As the saying goes, if there is food, there will be pulling. When it comes to eating, one should pay attention to it, and pulling should not be ignored. For babies, pulling can reflect their physical health status and is also a direct reflection of their gastrointestinal function. However, babies often experience diarrhea several times a day when they are young, and parents are worried that it may be diarrhea. So, what does a baby call diarrhea?
1. Increased frequency of bowel movements. The amount of food a baby feeds every day is similar, so the frequency of bowel movements should also be similar. Over time, parents can also have a certain grasp of these. Therefore, if the baby's bowel movements increase multiple times compared to usual, even to seven or eight times a day, or more than ten times, then the baby should have diarrhea.
2. The frequency of farting has increased. Usually, babies will fart before defecation to promote bowel movements. But if the baby keeps farting during bowel movements, and the fart is very smelly, mixed with the smell of food decay, it proves that there is a problem with the baby's digestive system. The digestive function has decreased or become disordered, and they cannot absorb food, which can lead to diarrhea.
3. Pull loose or watery stool. Although the baby's stool may sometimes be a bit thin, it can basically form. If the baby's stool is particularly thin or becomes watery, it can be preliminarily judged that there is a problem with the baby's gastrointestinal tract, which cannot absorb food and is directly excreted from the body, indicating that the baby has diarrhea.
