Crying and fussing with babies may seem like a daily routine, as they cry when hungry, when they pull down their pants, and when they want their mother to hug them. But few mothers notice that their babies may sometimes cry and smoke. What should they do if they cry and smoke?
When adults cry and feel sad in their daily lives, they may also have the phenomenon of smoking and smoking, but when babies cry and smoke, it's not that simple. If the baby cries and smokes, parents should immediately place the baby's body flat on the bed or lower their head slightly when holding them, which can reduce the baby's brain hypoxia. Next, parents need to pat the baby's feet or back, while also pinching the baby's vagina. This can help the baby quickly regain consciousness and breathing.
So why does the baby cry and smoke?
This crying and smoking phenomenon, which often occurs in babies under the age of three, is caused by the baby's crying and suffocation, and can be called breath holding syndrome. This is because when a baby is crying, the emotional center suddenly increases its excitability, which temporarily suppresses the respiratory center. So babies may experience breathing pauses after crying a few times, and there may also be a lack of blood and bluish lips. If it is a very serious baby, there is a possibility of losing consciousness, convulsions, and so on. Generally, this situation only lasts for about half a minute, with a maximum duration of 2-3 minutes.
