3. Developmental issues
The system that controls a baby's urination is the sphincter muscle. Normally, by the age of two, the sphincter muscle is well-developed. However, because each child's development rate is different, it cannot be ruled out that the sphincter muscle is not fully developed by the age of three. If this is the reason, the baby will control themselves from urinating after a period of time.
