Dad Goes Viral for Singing 'Ave Maria' to His Mesmerized Daughter in Disney Hotel

Oh, the magic of Disney (and one very special dad)!

When your adorable daughter bats her sweet, little eyelashes and asks you to sing opera in the middle of a hotel lobby, you do it.

Justin Gigliello found himself in this situation when his child asked the pianist in the lobby of the Grand Floridian hotel in Disney World to play “Ave Maria” while her dad sang. The dad, of course, couldn’t refuse, and sang an enchanting ballad while his daughter was bursting with pride throughout the whole performance.

According to his Twitter account , Gigliello is a firefighter for the North Stonington Volunteer Fire Department in Connecticut. But when he’s not saving lives, he busies himself with his other passion: Music. The dad is a private voice and piano teacher, with a bachelor’s degree in voice performance from Boston Conservatory. That definitely explains those pipes.

In the clip, onlookers at the hotel quickly form to watch Gigliello’s performance, and when he finishes he’s met with an energetic round of applause. After posting the video online, the dad has been picked up by various outlets and others who are just as entranced.

“Talk about a smile and a song! Thank you for sharing this magical moment,” the in-park Twitter account for Disney World commented on the tweet.
