A Mile-High Miracle: Passenger Saves Baby on Spirit Flight
When a passenger’s baby stopped breathing in the middle of a Spirit Airlines flight, one woman lept into action. Tamara Panzino, a nurse for more than 20 years, told Fox 35 that 30 minutes into her flight to Orlando, the baby three rows in front of her stopped breathing.
After hearing a call from the crew for help, she quickly started massaging the 3-month-old’s chest and legs, and soon, little baby Anjelé started breathing again. “When you have to step forward and do what’s right, you do it. It was just a happy story, and it made me feel really good,” said Panzino when asked about her heroic action.
John Cena Sets World Record—Granting 650 Make-A-Wish Wishes

The most wished-for celebrity in Make-A-Wish history—American actor and WWE superstar John Cena—has set a new record for the most wishes granted with the completion of his 650. The Make-A-Wish Foundation helps fulfill the wishes of children who have been diagnosed with a critical illness. Passionate about lifting the spirits of these children, Cena has granted over 250 more wishes than anyone in Make-a-Wish history.
“If you ever need me for this ever, I don’t care what I’m doing, I will drop what I’m doing and be involved because I think that’s the coolest thing,” Cena said in an interview with Reuters . “I just drop everything, [and] if I can offer a fantastic experience, I’ll be first in line to do my part.”
Parents Ask Dedicated NICU Nurse to Be Baby’s Godmother

Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Nurses often earn the moniker of guardian angels, but what about godmothers? After baby Conrad was born premature and sent to the NICU, nurse Carly Miller went above and beyond to care for baby Conrad and comfort his parents, Austyn Evans and dad Branden Williams.
After six long months spent in the NICU bonding and building up Conrad’s strength, the happy parents were able to take their baby home—but not before asking Miller to be Conrad’s godmother. “I started bawling. I was like, ‘Are you serious?’ … Then I asked her if she ran out of people to ask,’” Miller told TODAY . “It is hands down the coolest thing that I’ve had happen.”

Disney Debuts New Adaptive Costumes

New Protein Discovery Could Make Fertility Treatments More Successful

In the first study of its kind, researchers at the University of Sheffield created artificial eggs using thousands of beads, each with a different piece of protein on its surface so that sperm could bond with them. After several rounds of removing any beads that didn’t have sperm bound to them, researchers were eventually left with beads corresponding only to the protein MAIA—and sperm bound to all of these beads.

Comedian Trey Kennedy Is Going to Be a Dad
TikTok comedian Trey Kennedy and his wife Katie are expecting a baby boy! The couple shared the news on September 23. Katie shared the joyful moment captured in a minimalistic photo showcasing her and Kennedy donning neutrals and smiling at the camera, captioned “Baby Boy Kennedy due late February 2023 .”
