Head Peloton Instructor Robin Arzón Is Coming Out With a Kids’ Picture Book

“I think it’s so important to show kids from a young age that movement is medicine, self-care is not selfish, and endorphins are its own form of magic. STRONG MAMA is a celebration of the strength, heart, and joy that comes with motherhood and family.”

Robin Arzón, the head instructor at Peloton, gave birth to her first child, a baby girl, earlier this year. Now the new mom is coming out with her first children’s picture book celebrating her journey.

Arzón announced the book Strong Mama on Tuesday, June 1 through her Instagram. “I’m thrilled to announce my first ever children’s picture book! I wrote it while pregnant with Athena. It’s my love letter to her, my little training partner, about the journey we took on together as a team—growing her in my belly and preparing for the most epic endurance event ever—childbirth!” she wrote in the caption. “I think it’s so important to show kids from a young age that movement is medicine, self-care is not selfish, and endorphins are its own form of magic. STRONG MAMA is a celebration of the strength, heart, and joy that comes with motherhood and family. Superheroes are real and caretakers are examples of that every single day.”

Throughout her pregnancy, Arzón remained open about her decision to exercise while pregnant and passionate about empowering women as they move through their pregnancy. Her upcoming 32-page picture book, illustrated by Addy Rivera Sonda, celebrates moms and parents everywhere. The book will be available January 11, 2022 and is available to pre-order now.
