The Bottles and Breastfeeding Equipment Screening (BABES) Enhancement Act was introduced this week and would require the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) to clarify and regularly update guidance on handling breast milk, baby formula, and other products that keep baby fed. The proposed legislation will protect breastfeeding moms who are traveling through airports and will cut down on the difficulties breastfeeding moms can encounter when going through security screening.
