If you’re not stuffing your face with sweets on Valentine’s Day, then you’re doing it all wrong.
Last year, the National Retail Federation predicted a drop in all Valentine’s Day sales in all but one category. Yep, candy. With this year’s spending expectations for sweets at about $1.8 billion, the question isn’t will people be buying candy, but rather what will be their candy of choice.
The most popular candy on the block last year was classic Conversation Hearts from Sweethearts, followed closely by heart shaped boxes of chocolate, according to CandyStore.com .
